About Us

In August 2022, after months of planning with our community, students and staff from over 15 different schools came together to open Barton Pond Elementary School.  

Mission Statement

The Wake County Public School System and Barton Pond Elementary School will provide a relevant and engaging education and will graduate students who are collaborative, creative, effective communicators, and critical thinkers.

Vision Statement

Barton Pond is a school centered on love, community, collaboration, and supporting all students in meeting personal growth goals. Our vision is that “Barton Pond Elementary School challenges students and staff to grow in a loving environment centered on community and collaboration.”
